mapping elsewhere (2022) contains text, illustrations, and hand-coloured fragments unique to each copy. The narrative begins with a walk around the artist's neighbourhood, triggering memories and reflections on the place of the personal within larger social structures. Anchored by reflections on social and natural histories of stones from Mexico and Canada, mapping elsewhere shares a slow and informal learning of narratives marginalized by colonialism.
